Good location. There is this gentleman Phil who came in to fix the toilet door lock. Not only fixed the door, conveyed my request for a clean-up, advised me on trip back home. Excellent person, very friendly and very prompt! Makes this place a lot friendlier
When I had complained of the fact that the toilet door lock wasn't working, the remark was - "I had nobody complain so far". There was a sense of insincerity and lack of concern from the person at the reception and that is not a nice feeling, given that we were paying for the stay and wasn't really asking for a favor. Saving grace was Phil, excellent gentleman.
the location is very good, next to a wonderful hidden beach (beach is tiny and enclosed between high rocks, it looks like a movie spot) and close to Montecito; the room had a nice balcony with view on the Ocean
1. no cell line and no wifi in the room, which is fine unless you really have to be able to communicate with someone as I had to - but if you drive till the main hall (2 min drive) everything is ok 2. breakfast - but travelling all around US I found out average US breakfast choice is below European expectations so this place was fine according to US standards
Great little private walk to the beach.
Everything is good, excelent location/very good service, clean, very quiet place to relax,I will come back in October.
I know that they are working to have wi fi,so it will be wonderful to stay there again
Bed was comfortable.
Room was small and 'early 50's'. Table on patio had broken leg, no chairs to sit. View of house next door! Small shower, faucet handle came off in my hand! Two rooms we rented were significantly different in terms of size and amenities, yet we paid the same rate for both!
Location was great on the beach. We had a small private beach area after a five minute walk down a quiet path.
Beds were awful! Sheets and comforters were very old ! Mattresses were old and bed tilted toward the headboard. No a/c.
The bed was comfortable and the Thai restaurant next door was excellent.
1. There was no breakfast included (they've informed Booked.net that they no longer offer it, but Booked.net has not updated their site). 2. The "free Wi-fi" consisted of an intermittent, weak signal that basically didn't work in our room. 3. The room smelled musty and was a bit dank. 4. The sheets and comforter were old fashioned, dark and patterned, so it's impossible to know if they were clean.
The friendly staff and the location.
Nothing, it was a great getaway for me.
The closeness to a gorgeous beach
Really nice staff, beds adequate
Room had not been cleaned, given another room, no pool
Short walk to beach
Room was not cleaned, arrived at midnight
Close to a beautiful secluded beach- the real gem of this place. The place was quaint & beautiful, nice landscaping & gazebo where some folks were having a barbecue picnic then fire pit, which was really nice. No internet in room which I personally did not mind, since it made it imperative to unplug.
Old, worn property& furnitures. Very basic sundry provided
Close to the beach yes
No screen door no fan and no air-conditioning
no continental breakfast was offered although they did at one time. All motels that I have stayed in offer at least coffee and a donut while most will offer various cereal, fruit and coffee. surprise hey lowered the standard of hospitality.
I had expected at least dry cereal ,coffee and a peace of pastry for what I paid.$99.00 is a little overprice for what we got. In Monterey motels they offer hot breakfast for $90/night and they even had a swimming pool.
Short walk to private beach! Location is close to both Fort Bragg and Mendicino areas. Also, the bed was comfy and bedding was nice.
Decor is dated, and there are NO amenities! Wifi totally sucks!
